Malu has a keen and multi-dimensional understanding of partnerships from both corporate and property perspectives, having spent the last 20 years advising, evaluating, developing, negotiating and implementing partnership strategies and programs for various A-list clients in a variety of industries including financial services, transportation, automotive, pharmaceutical, packaged goods, sport and entertainment, as well as, not-for-profits.
Malu’s core competencies include sponsorship strategy development, sponsorship property valuation, partnership agreement analysis and negotiation, creative ideation, activation plan development and program management on the corporate side; sponsorship engineering – packaging, sales strategy formulation, program development, partnership facilitation and sponsor servicing on the property side.
Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Malu moved to the United States in the late 1980’s and worked with the United Nations in New York before moving to Toronto, Canada to establish permanent residence in 1990. Now a Canadian citizen, she leverages her heritage and understanding of the North American marketplace as Lang Partnerships Network’s multi-cultural marketing expert, keeping abreast of the latest development and impact of Canada’s changing demographics in the marketplace.
